Originally from South Florida, Carey Frank is now living in Los Angeles, CA. He is fortunate to be an active musician, working as a solo artist and as a sideman with various musicians in all different genres. He has worked with the likes of Kate Hudson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Michael Bublé, Linda Perry, Veronica Swift, Mike Garson, Orianthi, Hot Tuna, The Wood Brothers, Jane Monheit, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Joan Jett, Bruce Springsteen, Social Distortion, Gavin DeGraw, Bob Mintzer, Paris Jackson, John Stamos, Scary Pockets, Duane Betts, Vanessa Amorosi, Seasick Steve, Jason Bonham, Luke Spiller, and many more.
Carey received his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of Central Florida and later received his Masters of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of Southern California, studying with Russell Ferrente (Yellowjackets), Alan Pasqua, Bob Mintzer, and Peter Erskine. Currently, Carey is an active Los Angeles and touring performing artist, recording artist, music director, arranger, composer, and teacher. Carey is the adjunct jazz piano professor at El Camino College and part of the piano faculty at Los Angeles College of Music (LACM).
