Continuing our new LOS ANGELES JAZZ SOCIETY PRESENTS: Virtual Jazz Series we are excited to present an amazing duo performance by CAREY FRANK AND NADAV PELED.
Hosted by Mark Christian Miller.
Gifted performer, teacher, composer and arranger Carey Frank excels at Hammond organ, piano and ukulele and has had an extensive touring career with top bands including Social Distortion, the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Aubrey Logan. He received his Masters Degree in jazz studies from the USC Thornton School of Music and in recent years has been one of the most consistently in demand performing artists in Los Angeles.
A native of Israel, at the age of 19, guitarist Nadav Peled received a scholarship to attend the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and moved to New York, where he had the chance to study with such notable musicians as Junior Mance and Peter Bernstein. He has played with artists and groups that run a wide musical gamut such as The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Brian Charette, and has appeared in numerous prestigious stages and festivals across the U.S, Jamaica, Belgium, France, and Israel.
When you log into zoom, you will be placed in a waiting room and admitted at 7:30pm when the performance begins. Please remember to mute your video and sound. Following the performance, we will have a short Q&A - during the performance you may insert your questions on the ZOOM chat line.
